Schiller! 2025
Design of the new permanent exhibition in Marbach, Schiller's town of birth. The nine rooms of the historic building are divided into themes and display over four hundred original documents, letters, books, objects and paintings. The task was to present the objects in compliance with high conservation requirements. Our goal was to emphasise the character of the architecture with generous vitrines and low-key materials and colours in order to create a decent and contemporary stage for the historic, often decorated with artistic handwriting exhibits.
