log chairs 2018
The log chairs combine wood in two different stages of processing. The log which stands at the very beginning and the planed plank at the end of the manufacturing process. Inspired by the work of Chinese artist Fu Zhongwang, My aim was to create objects in which the wooden joints are seen not only from a technical point of view, but also as a sculptural element.
